This course is specifically designed for individuals who are brand new to HTML and CSS. Whether you have little to no experience with web development or simply want a solid refresher, this course serves as a broad introduction to the basics. You'll learn how to create and structure content using HTML tags, and then bring that content to life with visual styling using CSS. I also share many practical tips, shortcuts, and best practices that I've picked up over more than 20 years of working with HTML and building websites.While this course does not attempt to cover every single HTML element or CSS property—there are just far too many for a single beginner-level course—it does provide a strong foundation. I've chosen to focus on the essential elements and techniques that will give you the confidence to begin creating your own web pages and continue learning with more advanced topics in the future.In addition to HTML and CSS fundamentals, you'll also be introduced to a few key concepts in Graphic Design, such as layout, colour theory, and visual hierarchy.
