There's another app I've mentioned here a few times over the years.(http://photopills.com). They use augmented reality with your actual phone's camera to overlay the position of the sun (or moon!) with where you are:

This is extremely helpful if the sunset is officially at 8:30 pm, but falls below a treeline, or building, etc. earlier than that.
