We'll be covering various topics throughout the course. We'll start by doing some preparations before jumping into creating art. We'll develop a story on which to base our designs. It can give us a more clear direction and also helps us to come up with visual elements.
From the story, we'll create a mood board with inspirational images to get inspired and have a visual reference to talk about. We're gonna do research about our creature, do studies, and I'll talk about my study process.
We will use basic shapes to build and keep creatures simple when designing. In the following steps, we'll add more detail and look into poses and expressions, giving character to your design. And finally, we'll create a nice presentation so that you can use these designs in your portfolio or want to expand on this project.
