As the rollout of Standalone 5G continues, operators are turning their attention to how voice services will be supported in a 5G environment. Like 4G, the answer lies in the deployment of IMS and as such, this course seeks to outline the main aspects of IMS based voice services over 5G New Radio, termed Voice over New Radio or VoNR.The course will initially focus on setting the scent for VoNR, establishing the main concepts and drivers, including the work undertaken by the key standards bodies.
