Hi, welcome to this course on React Design system and patterns.If you are a Frontend developer that wants to learn how to build a sophisticated component library that is highly reusable and really simple to maintain than you will need the patterns I teach in this course.The materials of this course are the result of working on several design systems for multiple enterprise companies.The idea that I will teach you in this course is very simple. Similar to your daily speaking with others by only using a small and limited number of vocabularies, developing complex components can be achieved by combining a set of low-level styled components.We will build a set of common styles in form of reusable styled components to be later on consumed for building complex layouts. We will follow the "encapsulated CSS" principle throughout the journey to make our components extensible and customizable.At the end of the course we will use all of the patterns to build a final project to see the benefits of our work in practice. The project will be a single page design with fairly complex css styles.This course will give you a knowledge on building design systems at enterprise level that will help you stand-out from other developers.The course materials will be presented in ReactJS but they can be used by frontend developers for building design systems in any other frameworks and libraries.
