This is an introductory course designed to explain the 7 chakras, the organs connected to them, the emotions attached to each chakra when balanced and unbalanced, and tools to balance the unbalanced chakras.  Tools include essential oils with a scientific explanation on specifically why they work, which to use for what chakras, and why they promote emotional healing.  Instead of affirmations, this course offers unique scriptures to meditate on as a tool to get out of a stuck mindset that is preventing emotional health and rather fosters a spiritual openness to receive love.  As the instructor, I wasn't always open to learning holistic alternatives.  On the contrary, I was taught by the church to fear them.  After failed attempts to gain control of my health through western practices, I had no choice but to look to holistic alternatives.  I live now with a balance of eastern and western medicines, but I question why the old practices are thought of as "New Age" and feared while we do everything we can to mimic what nature provides.  Did you know that aspirin was created by man copying what bark from a willow tree provides?  This class is for those looking for natural ways to gain control of their emotions with a Christian twist.  You'll learn how experiences through different parts of your life have affected specific chakras, how that unbalanced chakra affects different organs and what emotional, physical, and mental symptoms that imbalance causes.  You'll then explore different ways to balance those chakras so you can live a balanced life that is not governed by how you feel, but rather what you think and meditate on.
