With this course I want to show you my way how to create videos for YouTube. However, I'm not going to show you how to create videos step-by-step in PowerPoint or how to record them with a GoPro camera.
Instead I show you the ideas behind it, the planning, video structure and the content of two projects. Therefore, don't expect a course that will teach you how to use PowerPoint or Premiere Pro.
So, if you want to follow up and create similar videos, you will need to learn how to master PowerPoint and Adobe Premiere Pro, as that is not part of this course.
The main focus of this course is to provide ideas about the creation process. Accordingly, I focus on two projects and use them to show you the planning, structuring and setup process.
The first project is a promotional business video about a success story. The second one concerns a series about Thailand movies, just for fun. You can watch all these videos on YouTube.
Concerning the business part, I would like to let you know that I have been in sales and marketing since 1984. Since 2005 I have my own company in Thailand called Punchy Edge which focuses on supporting the business of German companies in Thailand. Making business videos is a great part of my work.
For the fun part I would like to inform you that I have been living in Thailand since 1997 and have seen a lot of nice places in this wonderful country, an experience that I want to share on YouTube.
Before I delve into the two projects, I share some knowledge that can be very helpful for video creators.

In the second section you will find valuable information on the required hardware and software for video creation.
In summary, the aim of this course is to provide ideas on how to create business videos and clips for fun for YouTube and to provide a lot of important background information about video creation.
