Description
This course designed based on students mistakes and misconceptions and those you will master the following : A very strong review about statics .You will be able to deal with a difficult Trusses via gaining mental flexibility by having a very complicated Examples Understand the meaning of equilibrium Analyzing forces in 2D coordination SystemFinding the moment in every status Tension members Vs compression member Mastering the use of Joint Method Mastering Section Method Zero forces How to use the calculator professionally the signs convention General concepts: This article is intended to present a foundation for analyzing trusses in equilibrium, as well as provide a general guide as to how this analysis is conducted. The intent is not to be exhaustive but rather provide an introduction to the subject that can be built upon by those who seek more in-depth studies regarding the subject matter.Joint analysis can be performed for trusses. The joint method evaluates the linear equilibrium of a truss structure based on its dimensions and moment capacity. In this method, a strip is cut from inside until the gap is reached and then placed in a plane to identify the equilibrium (action) forces at that point. Using this method, we can find out whether or not there is sufficient capacity to carry the maximum weight when given. The sectional method determines inequality of forces on a surface by cutting away a portion of each member; this will result in excess force or deficiency force depending on no coordination exists within the system. This method is used to study trusses in 2D equilibrium where the analysis is confided to section method. The joints are analyzed according to their contribution, and then the equilibrium force acts on all joints. The results of the analysis show that the truss is not in equilibrium. Analyzing trusses using joint method and section method in 2D coordination forces moment around jointIn this section we use the joint method to analyze trusses. We also look at sections in space and then align them on a 2D graph. Analyzing trusses is useful for the designer who needs to analyze stiff structures of engineering systems, such as bridges, buildings and bridges. It will help you evaluate the stiffness of the structure by analyzing its deflection response during design phases.
