Gond art is highly influenced by the nature so you will always find design inspired by the nature. It is practices by the tribal community of the people of Madhya Pradesh, India. This art is person's close connection with his natural surroundings. The painting are made using vibrant colours like orange, yellow, red and blue and are created articulately with drawn lines and dots.
Gond paintings can be described as " on line work" that has an immediate effect on the viewer dots and dashes are added to impart a greater sense of movement and increase the amount of detail.
In this course we will learn to draw beautiful and colourful Gond art designs and in the end we will be able to create our own compositions using those designs. Gond art is believed to be an offering in worship of nature, based on the Gond believe that a good image brings good luck.
