One of the application's biggest disadvantages is the user interface which is anything but friendly. A considerable amount of effort and time needs to be put into understanding each element, piece of text and button, especially because most of them bring up new windows with similarly confusing layouts.
From the first time you run the application you clearly see it's meant for experienced users. If you have even the slightest knowledge and take a little tour, you realize it's the Swiss Army Knife of digital mode applications.
Real-time frequency analysis
You can easily load a custom WAV file in order to decode frequency through the dedicated option. Moreover, several reception types, like PSK, CW or RTTY come with individual tools you can access with a simple mouse click. These display a spectrum of received signal across different frequencies, decoding as signal comes in.
If the first menu wasn't enough for you, there is also an RX / TX screen you can choose to be launched instead of the confusing initial window. This brings up a whole new set of options, with the possibility to set BPSK31, QPSK31, PAX, PSK10 and a lot more.
