Amati Viola is part of the Cremona Quartet series from Native Instruments. Andrea Amati master discoverer is widely known as the inventor of the violin, which we know it. His son Jerolamo continued this tradition in their family workshop in Cremon, and designed Alto Stauffer in 1614, making it the oldest tool from the Cremona Quartet series.

During the recording process of this virtual tool, the Cremonic Streets were silenced, as the Council closed the roads, the parking lot and urged the residents of the city to remain as quieter. Meanwhile, inside Auditorium Giovanni Arvedi, designed by the pioneer of the acoustics of Yasuchis Toyota, the electronic tools of Hamburg traveled each of the viola's note with 32 carefully selected microphones placed around the hall to ensure the digital reconstitution of the historical masterpiece.
The tool contains 20 different professionally played articulations, each of which has up to five legito transitions. In addition, the innovative technology of vibrato with the seizure of execution simulates the natural technique of a vibrato professional musician, and stereo-phase-agreed dynamic crossfisces eliminate the phasing between dynamic transitions. The combination of these functions makes Amati Viola by one of the most realistic and realistic recreated solo-alto.
