Mathematicians describe the current state of functional equations in the complex domain, including differential equations, difference equations, q-difference equations, moment-differential equations, partial differential equations, and others. Among their topics are the value distribution of solutions of certain second-order ordinary differential equations, the Riemann-Liouville transform and linear differential equations on the Riemann sphere, a system of nonlinear difference equations for recurrence relation coefficients of a modified Jacobi weight, the positive powers of q-analogs of Euler series, and some notes on moment partial differential equations: applications to fractional functional equations. The 15 papers are from a virtual conference hosted by the University of Alcalá, Spain during June and July 2021.
