Dabei werden sowohl ihre Vorgeschichte wie auch ihre Auswirkungen und Rezeption nach 1945 ber|cksichtigt. Besonderes Augenmerk liegt auf dem Zusammenhang zwischen antij|discher Wissenschaft und dem Holocaust sowie der Frage nach der Wissenschaftlichkeit ihrer Forschungen.
Die Habilitationsschrift wurde mit dem Fraenkel Prize in Contemporary History 2009 der Wiener Library, London, ausgezeichnet.
