For centuries, the Mesoamerican (referring to Mexico and Central America predating the 16th Century Spanish Conquest) Aztec tribes of central Mexico have brought various thoughts, theories, and histories to mind. Most will consider dark-skinned people with long, feathered headdresses, ancient monuments and pyramids, bows and arrows, and primitive native culture. Whereas (most) of these ideas can be used to legitimately describe the Aztecs, there is an abundance of historical facts that remain unconsidered.
"A Short History Of..." is a collection of short books, about 5,000 words each. The goal of each book is a quick overview of a unique topic or focus area. Some are mainstream, some are not, but each subject is fascinating in and of itself.
Every book introduces the topic, provides a timeline encompassing significant events, identifies 'good' facts that are believed to be true and 'popular' facts that may be inaccurate. It also conducts a deep dive into three of the most prominent timeline events or items associated with the subject.
