Most players say that modes and technique are two areas that they would like to help take their playing to the next level. Well now you can! Brian Maillard teaches you how to use the modes creatively while supercharging your chops in the process!
In the beginner section of the full course, you'll work on the two most common minor modes, Dorian and Aeolian. These share some common notes with the ever popular Minor Pentatonic scale so there will be an element of familiarity if you're already into your pentatonic work! This volume will cover alternate picking, sliding, ghost notes, legato, bending and dynamic control all using the Dorian and Aeolian modes creatively! This section will give you a nice foundation for the modes, and get you started with some of the more interesting techniques. Combining the theory knowledge and techniques you learn will leave you with plenty of options for creating those interesting modal soloing ideas!
