Black Marble Theory provides answers to these questions. It's based on two simple ideas to add to current science that are easily grasped. When applied to Cosmological theory, they lead to plausible answers to these and many other mysteries.
Black Marble Theory addresses many areas of cosmology that we cannot observe directly and therefore we must deal with them through speculation:

Speculation in current theory has produced ideas including Singularities, Inflation, Dark Energy, and exotic particles of Ordinary Matter to explain Dark Matter. Black Marble Theory proposes simpler alternatives to these speculations but otherwise fits solidly within the mainstream of current Cosmology. The theory is based on a basic framework of observed and proven science including General Relativity, the Standard Model of Particle Physics, Quantum Theory, and the equations of universe expansion. When Black Marble Theory is added to this science, a description of the evolution of the universe emerges that provides a complete picture of what we observe today.
